Hats have a distinct advantage over other Promotional product clothing because they are worn on top of your head and are therefore more noticeable. Even in a large crowd hats stand out. Regardless if the person is seated or if they are standing the hat will stand out.  This means that the hat is usually visible and thus the logo or artwork on the hat will be more visible then say a t shirt which may be covered up by a jacket or blocked from view by people in a crowd.

We are wrapping up here on Christmas Eve and we just wanted to wish everyone a safe holiday season.  We will be back in the office on Monday.  The weather in the northeast might be a bit crazy so be careful and arrive safely to your holiday destination.

2009 was definitely an interesting year for promotional products.  The industry responded to some very interesting changes.  Some of the changes were caused by economic conditions and some were cause by political or climatic changes and some were even a result of a looming pandemic. 

No one would've predicted the explosion of hand sanitizers as a promotional item but that is exactly what happened when late in 2009 the world was facing a global flu pandemic.  Everyone was quick to jump on the hand sanitizer bandwagon and sales of promotional hand sanitizing products skyrocketed.  Another example was the rapid growth of all "green" or environmentally friendly promotional products.  That particular market saw great gains in 2009 and again corporations continued to pump large sums of money into green products.  However one has to wonder if that trend will continue into the next year or will it burn out??? 

Another interesting trend was the economic downturn.  It forced some people completely out of the promotional product game and forced others to make cutbacks and still other business pumped more money into promotional products looking for some sort of edge over their competition.  Regardless of how the economic downturn affected the promotional product budget all corporations demanded a better ROI on their promotional investment.  

What will 2010 hold??  No one knows for sure but we can say this at Kevin’s we are prepared to handle it all. Promotional Product listing

We have a bunch of new features coming to the website and I just wanted to write about them briefly. First we will be redesigning the Kevins WholeSale Promotional Products home page of the site. We are going to make it easier for people to find the exact product they want. We are also going to add a great search feature that links directly to our promotional item mall which as over 70 thousand promotional products for you to purchase.

We are also going to introduce a new "Special of the week" section which will be a new section of the site that has some great specials that rotate weekly.

We are keeping busy here ad Kevins Promotional products.  First we had our holiday party here and it was great.  It was a great  year for us at kevins and we are ending with a lot of momentum going into 2010.  We also updated our blog with a new plug in that allows you to bookmark our site on a lot of  your favorite social bookmarking sites.  We strive to provide you with the best information on promotional products we can as well as provide the best deals and best service in the promotional items and screen printing industry.  As always take a look at our Promotional Products - Custom Screen Printing homepage to keep up to date with our new products and specials.
